Chiron
Three stories. One wound. Endless healing.
Chiron is the debut EP by Süeda ÇatakoÄŸlu — a poetic and powerful reflection on exile, identity, and inner healing. Inspired by the mythological and astrological figure known as the wounded healer, each of the EP’s three original tracks captures a deeply personal moment in her journey.
“Mülteci Kaldım” evokes the silence and resilience of displacement. “SönmüÅŸ Tütsü,” a duet with fretless guitar master Cenk ErdoÄŸan, immerses the listener in a landscape of memory and emotional depth. The final track, “Tango Manifesto,” releasing soon, is a bold declaration of survival, set to the pulse of tango and Turkish rhythms.
Blending Turkish cabaret, Mediterranean jazz, tango, and modern Turkish poetry, Chiron is both intimate and expansive — a soundscape where personal wounds transform into universal stories.
